Ways to Give
Stocks & Securities
You are able to make gifts of securities or stock in support of Long Beach State Athletics.
Gifts of securities are tax deductible at their full market value and recorded based on the mean market value of the stock, bond, or mutual fund on the date of the gift. This is determined by the date you relinquish control of the asset.
To ensure the proper completion of your gift, please contact the CSULB 49er Foundation at 562-985-8491 to one of the following:
- Notify the University when a securities transfer has been made.
- Work with 49er Foundation staff to initiate your stock transfer with the name, number of shares, and your contact information.
- Fill out the Gift of Securities Notification Form and fax to 562-985-7951.
