Established in 1960 as the 49er Club of Long Beach, Inc., the Beach Athletic Fund is the fundraising arm of Long Beach State Athletics. The primary purpose of the Beach Athletic Fund is to raise funds to offset the rising costs of athletic scholarships for Long Beach State student-athletes.
